Infinity Sails Pte. Ltd. ("Infinity Sails", "we", "us") operates yacht cruises and private charters from ONE°15 Marina, Sentosa Cove, Singapore. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use our website, booking site, and messaging channels (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger), how we use it, and your rights under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
1. What we collect
- Booking details: name, email address, phone number, number of guests, dates and times booked, special requests or notes you provide.
- Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we receive only a confirmation, the amount, and a payment reference.
- Messages: when you contact us on WhatsApp, Instagram or Messenger, we receive your messages, your profile name/handle, and the platform's identifier for your account (such as your WhatsApp number or Instagram-scoped user ID).
- Website usage: standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, used only to run and secure the site.
2. How we use it
- To take, confirm, change and fulfil your booking, and to send confirmations, reminders and day-of trip information.
- To answer your questions and assist with bookings through our messaging channels, including our automated concierge assistant (see section 3).
- To process payments, refunds and promotional codes.
- To contact you about your trip, and — only where you have opted in — to send occasional news and offers. You can opt out at any time.
- To meet safety, legal and accounting obligations (for example passenger manifests and GST records).
3. Automated concierge assistant
Messages you send to us on WhatsApp, Instagram or Messenger may be answered by an automated assistant powered by artificial intelligence. The assistant can look up your booking, check availability, provide quotes, create bookings (payment is always completed by you through a secure Stripe link), and make changes you request. Your messages are processed by our AI provider, Anthropic, solely to generate replies; Anthropic does not use them to train its models and retains them for a limited period for safety and abuse prevention. Conversation history is kept on our systems for up to 24 hours to maintain context, after which it is deleted. You can ask for a human at any time — say "speak to a person" or WhatsApp our concierge at +65 9699 3782.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, each bound to use it only for that purpose: Stripe (payments), Meta Platforms (WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger delivery), Anthropic (AI assistant replies), Google (calendar scheduling of charters — booking date and guest count only), and our email provider for confirmations. We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect safety at sea.
5. Retention
Booking and payment records are kept for as long as needed to fulfil the booking and for up to 7 years to meet Singapore accounting and tax requirements. Messaging conversation context is deleted after 24 hours. Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it.
6. Security
Data is stored on servers located in Singapore, protected by encryption in transit (HTTPS), firewalling, access controls and regular security updates. Access is limited to staff who need it to serve you.
7. Your rights
Under the PDPA you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent for its use (which may mean we cannot fulfil a booking). To do so, or to delete the link between your messaging account and our records, contact our Data Protection Officer at info@infinitysails.com. We respond within 30 days.
8. Children
Our services are booked by adults. We collect children's details (such as guest count or age for life-jacket sizing) only from the adult making the booking.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; the effective date above will change accordingly. Material changes will be noted on this page.
